Just wanted to point out that I have abandoned the Google Group idea. Nothing against Google, just sharpening things up here at sD. Really, it’s a matter of asking myself how many things I want to update when I post something here on sD. So seeing that no one had joined the group in the boom of today’s traffic, I decided to give it the boot. Honestly, I was already on the fence with the decision so I was just looking for that one tiny little reason to tip me over and today’s little test was just what I needed!
Over at Synergy (my design firm), we usually send prospective clients some form of creative brief so we get some of the foundational questions out of the way for the project and get a feel for the style the client is looking for. This not only helps the client articulate their needs but gives us an idea of the scope so we can create a proposal or work order. I have converted two of the documents we use for this site and the projects we do. I will be sending these forms to our project contacts here and posting the responses for your viewing pleasure.
I’m a big fan of Google Reader. Mainly for the ease of sharing links. I have been sharing links for a long time (some days more than others). There’s just so much information out there and I am always trying to find stuff on the net for inspiration. Yeah, sometimes there’s stuff I share that don’t really pertain to design inspiration but for the most part, my link feed is loaded with all sorts of great stuff that I find as I poke around the net. Seeing that Justine and I have been talking about a re-do of her site for OVER A YEAR, this application, coming in true iJustine style and taste gets the selection for project number one here at Starving Designer. I’m so excited to kick things off with this project as we have been fumbling this thing around in our heads for what seems like for-e-ver! I couldn’t be more embarrassed i’ve taken so long happier to receive this application and select it as the first out of the gate. So here’s the drill…
As you see the episodes, tweets and posts, if there’s anything you think we should consider (even your help in some way), please let me know. I don’t expect any help but would welcome the opportunity to work with other creatives on any project.

In addition to the resources I will be posting to this section of the site, I have a public shared folder on box.net with all sorts of stuff in it for your creative usage. Simply put, there’s a lot of stuff we find as we dig through the Internet. We wouldn’t want to see those great links and awesome ideas go to waste so we have this “resource” section just for that purpose. From my delicious links to other tutorials we find or produce. We will do our best to post as much as we can here. Feel free to add via comments or talk to us about becoming a trusted resource and participant in the whole site.
